Petrol & Diesel prices hike increases trouble for common people | Namaste Bharat (30 March 2022)
The price of petrol and diesel increased by 80 paise per litre today, bringing the total increase in rates over the previous nine days to 5.60 a litre. According to a price notification given by state petroleum merchants, petrol will now cost 101.01 per litre in Delhi, up from 100.21 before, while diesel will cost 92.27 per litre, up from 91.47 previously. In Mumbai, the price of petrol and diesel per litre increased by 84 and 85 paise, respectively, to 115.88 and 100.10. Across the country, rates have been raised, with variances based on the amount of municipal taxation in each state.
