Palghar lynching: Maharashtra govt resist CBI probe demand

Maharashtra government has protested handing over the investigation of the Palghar Sadhu murder case to CBI. The state government in its reply filed in the Supreme Court said that action has been taken against the Police.

Many sages and saints have been demanding a CBI inquiry into the lynching of two sadhus in Palghar.
