The two Indian staffers were missing since morning, in the evening there were reports of their arrest for their alleged involvement in the hit and run accident.
India told Pakistan not to harass the arrested Indian High Commission staffers and nor to interrogate them in any way. Pakistan was asked to release the staffers immediately and return them to the High Commission along with their cars.
Delhi Police had arrested two officials of the Pakistani embassy on June 1 as they were luring money to a person and taking documents related to security.
