Pakistan denies vandalism of Buddhist heritage in Gilgit-Baltistan
Pakistan has denied that any sort of damage or vandalism of Buddhist heritage and Buddha idol has taken place in Gilgit Baltistan area under its occupation. Earlier, reports had emerged with photos that show extremist factions in Pakistan supported by its establishment have vandalised and defaced the Buddhist heritage.
Indian Ministry of External Affairs had also taken the note of the incident and condemned it in strongest terms.
