Pakistan cabinet approves new political map claiming J&K as its part

National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval walked out of a virtual meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Doval took this step after the Pakistani representative showed a wrong map. Pakistan had presented an imaginary map showing Indian territories as part of Pakistan.

Showing Indian territory as part of Pakistan is a gross violation of the SCO Charter. The SCO is a permanent intergovernmental international organization, which aims to maintain peace, security and stability in the area concerned.
