Odisha: “Naveen Patnaik Advised All MPs To Raise Issues…”: Sasmit Patra On BJD’s Parliamentry Party Meeting | ABP News

At the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Parliamentary Party meeting on July 19, party leader Sasmit Patra announced that all MPs unanimously elected Naveen Patnaik as their leader. In an interview with NAI, Patra explained that during the meeting, Naveen Patnaik advised party leaders to focus on raising issues of critical importance for Odisha. "The BJD Parliamentary Party meeting, presided over by Naveen Patnaik, saw all MPs unanimously elect him as chairperson of the party. He urged us to be a robust opposition and to strongly counter the BJP-led central government. Despite nearly a decade of BJP rule, the party has completely neglected the people of Odisha," Patra said.
