In the 115th episode of his "Mann Ki Baat" program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reflected on significant moments in his life. He shared that he had the opportunity to visit the birthplace of Birsa Munda, which held special significance for him. PM Modi noted that the 150th birth anniversary of two great personalities is approaching, with the celebrations for Sardar Patel's anniversary starting on October 31, followed by Birsa Munda's on November 15. During the address, he mentioned the animated series "Motu Patlu" while discussing the "Make in India" initiative. He emphasized that India is set to bring about a new revolution in the animation industry, highlighting the creative wave sweeping the nation. He recalled the joy children experienced when watching shows like "Chhota Bheem" and noted that other animated series, such as "Motu Patlu" and "Hanuman," are widely popular globally. PM Modi pointed out that animation is becoming a significant industry, contributing to others, including the rising trend of virtual reality (VR) tourism. He encouraged exploring India's historical sites through virtual tours, such as the Ajanta Caves or the corridors of the Konark Temple. While addressing the importance of the animation sector, he said it has become a medium to spark curiosity about tourism locations. The demand for animators, storytellers, writers, voice-over experts, musicians, game developers, and VR and AR specialists is continually growing. PM Modi urged Indian youth to expand their creativity, suggesting that the next global animation blockbuster could emerge from their computers. Furthermore, he mentioned that the "Atmanirbhar Bharat" (Self-Reliant India) campaign is evolving into a people's movement, with achievements in every field. He highlighted the recent inauguration of Asia's largest imaging telescope, MACE, located at a height of 4,300 meters in Hanle, Ladakh, as a significant milestone for the nation.
