Sonia Gandhi, Congress President, paid her respects to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh by offering floral tributes as his mortal remains were brought for his final rites. Dr. Singh, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 92, was a revered leader. His cremation, with full state honors, took place on December 28, 2024, at Nigambodh Ghat, New Delhi, at 11:45 AM. The Ministry of Home Affairs coordinated with the Ministry of Defence to ensure military honors during the ceremony.
