Manish Sisodia Exclusive: When will Arvind Kejriwal be released from Tihar jail? Sisodia shares everything
After his release from jail, Manish Sisodia gave an interview to ABP News. He claimed that the BJP wants to imprison opposition leaders. The former Deputy CM and Education Minister of Delhi accused the BJP of misusing central agencies and warned that if unchecked, this could lead to the arrests of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge.
Sisodia stated that he was arrested, followed by Hemant Soren and CM Arvind Kejriwal, accusing the BJP of targeting opposition leaders using agencies. He also claimed that businessmen are being extorted under the guise of investigations by central agencies.
Sisodia shared that he initially thought he would be out of jail in 6-7 months, but it took 17 months. He expressed concern that if a businessman were jailed for such a duration, their business would collapse, and they are being extorted out of this fear.
Sisodia said his arrest was hardest on his wife, who had to endure the situation. However, he also mentioned that his family's support gave him the strength to fight. When asked about his role in the party, Sisodia stated that he would do whatever the party decides for him.
During Kejriwal's arrest, Sunita Kejriwal managed the party, and there were speculations about her entering politics. Sisodia found these speculations amusing, emphasizing that the Kejriwals and his family are one. He praised Sunita, describing her as highly educated, an officer, and a dignified woman. She effectively communicated Kejriwal’s message to the public during the party's crisis.
