Maharashtra: Tourists Stranded on Anjaneri Parvat Rescued to Safety | ABP News
Tourists were stranded on Anjaneri mountain in Maharashtra's Nashik, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, due to heavy rainfall. Despite administrative warnings, a large group of people had ventured upwards to visit the popular spot, which attracted many visitors. Fortunately, the trapped individuals were rescued safely after a six-hour operation. Maharashtra has been experiencing continuous rainfall in various regions. IMD has also released an alert for heavy rain. In Nashik, tourists had been enjoying the rain at the Anjaneri waterfall, but a sudden downpour trapped them. The forest department team promptly responded to the situation, forming a human chain to rescue all tourists safely.
