Maharashtra: Setback for Uddhav Thackeray govt, Shiv Sena state minister resigns
In a major setback for Uddhav Thackeray-led government in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena MLA Abdul Sattar has resigned from the state minister in Maha Vikas Aghadi government. Sattar had jumped ship from Congress to Shiv Sena before the 2019 Maharashtra election. The resignation comes days after the cabinet expansion of Maharashtra government. The Uddhav Thackeray government is a coalition of Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP MLAs.
