Maharashtra govt offers 1400-crore to buy Air India building at Nariman Point

The national airline Air India has been in the face of mounting losses for a long time now. To curb the losses they decided to sell the iconic Air India building at Nariman Point. While the MVA government is keen on purchasing the building at Rs 1,400 crore, Air India told the state government that its internal valuation was around Rs 2,000 crore.
