Magh Mela 2022: COVID threat INCREASES as 7 policemen test positive

In a major development from the Magh Mela, which is scheduled to be held in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, 7 policemen, posted in the security arrangements of Magh Mela, have tested positive for Coronavirus. All these policemen have been sent to isolation. Considering the situation, the administration has issued several guidelines for the Magh Mela. Under this, the certificate of double vaccination has become necessary for all the devotees coming to the fair.  Along with this, the ghat has been widened at Sangam so that social distancing can be followed during the crowd.
