Lucknow Poisonous liquor case: Police Commissioner removed, other officers transferred
Acting on the death of 6 people by drinking poisonous liquor in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow, CM Yogi has removed Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey. After removing him from the post of Police Commissioner of Lucknow, he has now been made Additional Director General of Police, Sitapur. DK Thakur has been appointed in his place. Thakur has taken immediate charge. Along with this, Excise Inspector Alok Pandey has also been suspended in the case.
