Four-time MP and Union Minister Anurag Thakur of the ruling BJP is leading as per early trends and is likely to make it five wins in a row.
BJP's Anurag Thakur is currently in the lead with 71,838 votes from Congress party's Satpal Raizada.
In Himachal Pradesh, the electoral battle is primarily between Congress and BJP. Hamirpur, one of the four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh, is a BJP stronghold. Over the past two decades, the Congress party has consistently lost in Hamirpur in the Lok Sabha elections. The last time Congress won from Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat was in 1996. In the Hamirpur constituency, four-time MP Anurag Thakur is contesting against Congress party's Satpal Raizada.
