Asansol Constituency of West Bengal was won by Babul Supriyo in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections from the BJP party. Moon Moon Sen was the runner-up from Asansol, who lost by 197,637 votes, belonging to TMC. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Babul Supriyo got 633,378 votes and won by a margin of 197,637 votes.
The 7th phase of polling of LS Elections includes Varanasi, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is contesting for a third consecutive term. Polling will be conducted in all 13 seats of Punjab, four seats in Himachal Pradesh, 13 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, nine in West Bengal, eight in Bihar, six in Odisha, and three seats in Jharkhand, alongside Chandigarh.
