Bharatiya Janata Party's Anurag Thakur has blamed the Arvind Kejriwal government for the Jahangirpuri case. On the other hand, Hans Raj Hans too pointed out that Arvind Kejriwal should have taken responsibility as well.

Ruckus was created during the Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri, Delhi on Saturday evening. According to the Police, stone-pelting and sporadic arson were done during the procession. The incident took place near Kushal Cinema at around 5:30 pm. During the incident, many police officials were injured brutally. As per the report, more than ten investigative teams have been constituted to probe the matter. These teams are a part Special Cell and Crime Branch of Delhi Police.

On the other hand, security has been beefed up all over the capital.
