Kuwait's new law might deport 8 lakh Indians back

Kuwait's legislative body is considering a new Bill that might limit the number of Indian's the oil-rich country at 15 percent. If the Bill becomes a law, it might affect as many as 8 lakh Indians living in the country, most of which are migrant labourers in the country. As many as 14 lakh 50 thousand Indians live in Kuwait. The Bill is currently in draft stage and may tabled in the Kuwaiti Parliament later in the week.
