Kerala gold smuggling case: Sapna Suresh sent on 14-day judicial remand

A gold smuggling case worth crores of rupees was unearthed in Kerala a few days ago which has created a political storm in the state. The key accused in the case, Sapna Suresh, has been spotted on multiple occassions with senior CPI(M) leaders including the Chief Minsiter Pinarayi Vijayan. Meanwhile, the investigation has been handed over to NIA which is looking at a possible ISIS link to this scandal.
