Kargil Vijay Diwas: PM Modi In Kargil To Pay Tribute To Soldiers Martyred In The War | ABP News
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kargil on Friday, July 26, to mark the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas. During his visit, he will pay tribute to the martyrs at the Kargil War Memorial. Following this, he will inaugurate the Shinkun La Tunnel Project. According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi is scheduled to arrive at the Kargil Memorial at 9:20 am, after which the project will be virtually inaugurated. The Shinkun La Tunnel, a 4.1 km twin-tube tunnel at an altitude of approximately 15,800 feet, will enhance all-weather connectivity on the Padum-Darcha road. Once completed, it will be one of the world’s highest tunnels, facilitating efficient movement of troops and promoting regional development.
