Days after Uttarakhand's CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that they would not allow Kanwar Yatra in the state, Yogi Adityanath called a special meeting to discuss the same as they decided to go forward with the pilgrimage with stricter COVID-19 norms. Now, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Yogi govt seeking the reason behind this major step amid pandemic in the country. However, a section of society has also requested the UP govt to think over their decison.
