Jodhpur News: CM Gehlot calls high-level meeting on Law & Order situation
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday called a high-level meeting with police officials regarding the law and order situation in the state, in the wake of recent clashes in Jodhpur. Communal tension in Jodhpur re-escalated after the Namaz of Eid on Tuesday morning. Earlier, five policemen were injured in the incident that took place past midnight, news agency PTI reported officials as saying. The Rajasthan Chief Minister called the Jodhpur clashes between two groups "unfortunate" and appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony.
