JNU case: Hindu Raksha Dal claims responsibility for incident

View In AppHindu Raksha Dal, a far-Right group, has claimed responsibility for the brutal assault on teachers and students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) by a masked mob on January 5. National President of Hindu Raksha Dal, Pinky Chaudhary, talked to ABP News and blamed the premier university for being a hotbed of anti-national activities. Chaudhary said, "Youngsters are using the platform of JNU to raise slogans against India which is absolutely wrong. They wish to become popular via this but it is working against our own nation."
According to reports, government sources have said that the claims made by Hindu Raksha Dal chief Pinky Chaudhary are being probed. Government officials have also said that Delhi Police has taken cognizance of the violence and in order to identify the masked men and women, the police are taking the help of video and CCTV footage from Sunday.
Delhi Police has said that the claim made by Hindu Raksha Dal is being investigated.
