Jitin Prasada joins BJP ahead of UP elections 2022, says 'BJP works in nation's interest'

Former Union Minister Jitin Prasada quit the Indian National Congress today and crossed over to the BJP. Prasada's difference with Congress was no secret; he was part of the G-2 or group of 23 Congress leaders who had written to party chief Sonia Gandhi last year calling for sweeping reforms, collective decision-making and full-time, visible leadership'.
