India records 1329 new Covid-19 cases in past 24 hrs | Audio Bulletin

Indian Council of Medical Research asked states to stop using the newly-distributed Chinese rapid testing kits to detect Coronavirus for the next two days after huge variations in accuracy of results were noticed across regions. ICMR said that it will be sending eight expert teams on field to validate the results.

The union ministry on Tuesday said that there are 18,601 positive cases in the country and 590 people have succumbed to infection. The total active cases in the country are 14,759.
