India logs 3,47,254 COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

The Union health ministry stated on Friday that India had registered 3,47,254 new COVID-19 cases in the previous 24 hours. The number of active cases has risen to 20,18,825, thanks to the new coronavirus infections. According to figures updated at 8 a.m., the COVID death toll has risen to 4,88,396, with 703 people succumbing since yesterday. According to the most recent official figures, 2,51,777 people have recovered from the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of persons who have recovered to 3,60,58,806.
