Hyderabad case: Apna Dal MP Anupriya Patel's moving speech in LS

Apna Dal MP Anupriya Patel today strongly condemned the gang rape and murder of the Hyderabad veterinarian in the Lok Sabha session. She quoted sloka 'yatra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra devata' in the lower house and said this horrific incident has brought shame to the country, where the women are supposed to be worshiped. Patel also said that the attitude of the state government towards the incident was insensitive as the victim's family had to struggle to even register an FIR. Anupriya Patel also targeted state CM KC Rao for taking three days' time in the declaration of the fast track court set up.
