How US and Canada have reacted to India-China stand off

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the aftermath of the violent clashes between Indian and Chinese army personnel across the LAC.
The two leaders spoke about the situation along the Line of Actual Control. Meanwhile, the spokesperson of US State Department has said, "Both India & China have expressed desire to de-escalate & we support a peaceful resolution of current situation. We are closely monitoring the situation between Indian and Chinese forces along the Line of Actual Control."
