Heavy Rains Cause Devastation in Himachal Pradesh, Cloudburst Hits Shimla | ABP News

Following Assam and Kerala, heavy rains have now wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh. Cloudbursts have struck Kullu’s Nirmand block, Malana, and Mandi district, causing widespread damage. Many homes, schools, and hospitals have been damaged due to the cloudbursts, with approximately 40 people reported missing. One body has been found in Mandi, while 35 individuals have been rescued safely. Due to the cloudbursts, all schools and educational institutions in Mandi have been closed today. In response to the crisis, Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda has spoken with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to assess the situation and has assured support from the central government. JP Nadda also contacted former CM and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur and the BJP state president, instructing all BJP workers to engage in relief efforts.
