Hathras Satsang Stampede: There was a stampede during Bhole Baba's satsang in Hathras, UP on July 2, in which more than 122 people died, while hundreds were seriously injured. This accident took place in Phulrai village, 47 km away from Hathras. After which CM Yogi Adityanath took cognizance and ordered an investigation. After the Hathras accident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken major action. 6 officers of Sikandrarao tehsil area have been held guilty. Sikandrarao SDM Ravindra Kumar, Tehsildar Sushil Kumar, CO Dr. Anand Kumar, Kotwali in-charge Ashish Kumar as well as Pora Chowki in-charge Brijesh Pandey and Kachora Chowki in-charge Manveer Singh have been suspended. The SIT formed on the Hathras stampede has not even mentioned Narayan Sakar Hari anywhere in its entire report. In the report, the accountability of the program organizer and the local administration has also been fixed for the Hathras accident. The two-member investigation committee submitted the investigation report and said that conspiracy cannot be ruled out, hence a thorough investigation is needed. The report said that the Hathras incident happened due to the negligence of the organizers. Adequate arrangements were not made by inviting the crowd. The report said that the local police and administration officials did not take the event seriously. Senior officials were not given proper information.
