Key figures who resigned include Ranjit Chautala, who left his ministerial position to contest as an independent candidate, and Laxman Napa, BJP MLA from Ratia, who joined Congress after being denied a ticket. Karandev Kamboj, President of BJP's Haryana OBC Cell, resigned after not receiving a ticket for the Indri Assembly seat, while Sukhwinder Singh Mandi, President of BJP Kisan Morcha in Haryana, also stepped down. Additionally, Aditya Chautala, Chairman of the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, and leaders like Shamsher Gill, Vikas aka Balle, and Darshangiri Maharaj resigned from the party. Prashant Sunny Yadav from Rewari, who had previously contested independently, also resigned, along with BJP State Women's Secretary Indu Walecha and her husband, Sanjeev Walecha, the Sonepat District Vice President. Naveen Goyal, BJP Trade Cell State Coordinator, resigned and will contest independently from Gurugram. Amidst these resignations, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini commented that the "lotus flower" (BJP's symbol) can only remain in one place, highlighting the high number of aspirants. He also expressed the party's intent to persuade strong leaders like Karandev Kamboj and Laxman Napa to stay.
