Haryana Assembly Elections: Chaos in Haryana, Conflicting Claims About CM Saini's Seat | ABP News
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has stated that the decision on which seat he will contest in the upcoming assembly elections will be made by the party's central leadership. While there has been speculation about him contesting from the Ladwa seat instead of Karnal, Saini mentioned that the state president has more information on this matter. He noted that their candidates had applied to the Parliamentary Board, and their names have been listed and presented to the central leadership for a final decision. In a media interaction during a roadshow in Karnal, Saini expressed his gratitude to the people of Karnal for their support and emphasized that the BJP will form the government in Haryana for the third time. He highlighted that the "double-engine" government will further accelerate development in Haryana. He also praised the overwhelming turnout at the Karnal roadshow, which he believes has strengthened the bond between the people and the BJP. Saini is currently the MLA from Karnal, having won the seat in a by-election after Manohar Lal Khattar vacated it. In response to the BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoriya’s statement about Saini potentially contesting from Ladwa, Congress leader Deepak Babaria criticized the frequent changes in announcements and predictions about election dates and seat choices, suggesting that the situation may change again soon.
