The Allahabad High Court on Friday postponed a hearing in the Kashi Vishwanath temple-Gyanvapi mosque dispute until July 6. A petition contesting a dispute suit currently pending in a Varanasi court was being considered by the HC. Six petitions on the circumstance have been filed with the High Court. Meanwhile, after adjourning the case for a day at the request of the Hindu plaintiffs, the Supreme Court is set to resume hearings on the Gyanvapi mosque issue Monday (May 20). On May 23, the case will be heard again in Varanasi.
