The Allahabad High Court on Friday postponed the hearing in the Kashi Vishwanath temple-Gyanvapi mosque dispute until July 6. A petition contesting a dispute suit now pending in a Varanasi court was before the HC. The scenario has resulted in six petitions being filed with the High Court. Meanwhile, after adjourning the case for a day at the request of the Hindu plaintiffs, the Supreme Court is set to resume hearings on the Gyanvapi mosque issue Monday (May 20). On May 23, a new hearing will be held in Varanasi.
