Brave hearts Army officials get trained at the Indian Army’s High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) in J&K’s Gulmarg for Avalanche rescues and to safeguard LOC. Soldiers train themselves in heavy snowfall at high altitude areas. They learned skiing and walking in the snow. They also learned to make igloos to survive in the snow-covered areas.
