Gujarat News: Continuous Rainfall in Gujarat Disrupts Daily Life, Water Infiltrates Homes | ABP News

Heavy rainfall continued on Saturday across several districts in Gujarat, including Saurashtra, Dwarka, Junagadh, and Porbandar, creating flood-like conditions. The persistent downpour has severed connections between many villages and the cities, with low-lying areas inundated. In anticipation of flooding, rescue and relief operations have commenced, with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams deployed to the affected regions. According to the Gujarat State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC), Dwarka Taluka in Devbhoomi Dwarka district recorded 163 millimeters of rain over a 12-hour period by 6 PM on Saturday. Junagadh city and Taluka received 133 millimeters of rainfall, while the Patan-Veraval area in Gir Somnath district recorded 117 millimeters.
