First Monday of Sawan observed in five 'Jyotirlingas'

Today is the first Monday of the Hindu month of Sawan which also marks the start of the month. This Monday is special for the devotees of Lord Shiva. Hence, special prayers will be held in Shiva temples, also known as 'Jyotirlingas' across the country. Be it Amarnath caves in Jammu and Kashmir, Mahakal Temple in Ujjain or Baithdyanath Dham in Deoghar, Bihar. However, some Jyotirlingas will be marking beginning of Savan tomorrow.
