The murder, which occurred six months ago in May, was revealed on Monday after police solved the case and caught the suspect, news agency ANI reported.

The investigation centres on the death of Sharddha Walkar, a young woman who had moved out of her parents' home to live with her lover, Aftaab Amin Poonawala, since her parents disapproved of their relationship.
