EC extends ban on physical rallies & roadshows till Jan 31

In a major development on Saturday, the Election Commission (EC) extended the ban on physical rallies and roadshows until January 31. The ban has been extended again by the commission, the first on January 15 and the second on January 22. Physical public gatherings of political parties or contending candidates are allowed to begin on January 28 for Phase 1 and on February 1 for Phase 2.
