Double Murder Shocks Delhi on Diwali Night, Gunmen Storm Home in Brutal Firing | ABP News

In Delhi, Diwali celebrations were marred by a shocking incident of gun violence, where, alongside the festive fireworks, gunshots rang out in the Shahdara area. Two people were killed, and one was critically injured in a shooting that took place inside a residential home. The injured individual has been admitted to the hospital for urgent care. According to the family members and eyewitnesses, two assailants arrived on a scooter. They reportedly entered the house, initially showing respect by touching the feet of those present, but soon after, they began firing indiscriminately at the family members. The relentless assault led to the deaths of an uncle and his nephew, while another family member suffered severe injuries. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and police are investigating whether there were any prior disputes or unresolved conflicts that could have led to such a violent escalation. This tragic incident has cast a shadow over Diwali festivities in the area, raising concerns about the safety and security in the neighborhood. Authorities are working to identify and apprehend the attackers.
