Dharchula market feels the pinch as Nepal shuts bridge connecting India-Nepal

Under pressure and insistence from China, Nepal has shut down the bridge that connects Nepal to Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India. A small village Dharchula is situated on the Indian side of the border in this area. The markets of this village used to be a popular shopping spot for residents of Nepal. But with the borders shut, the markets are deserted. Watch this report.
