Officials say at least three people were killed and numerous more were injured in a cable-car collision at Trikut hills in Jharkhand's Deoghar district on Sunday, with a daring rescue mission involving two Air Force helicopters still underway to rescue others trapped on the ropeway. According to news agency PTI, some 27 individuals were recovered and at least 20 others were still waiting to be rescued 24 hours later. Rescue operations have been halted due to the darkness of the night and will resume in the morning.
