Delhi welcomes New Year with shivering cold, smog
As the new year kicked off, the people in the national capital welcomed the fresh year with spine chilling cold. The temperature in Delhi at 5.30 am was recorded as 5.7 degree celsius on Wednesday, while the fog engulfed Delhi-NCR today. The visibility has been reduced to 500 metres. Delhi's air quality index has also been recorded as 458 putting it in a severe condition.
