Delhi Excise Policy Case: CM Arvind Kejriwal Granted Bail By Rouse Avenue Court | ABP News

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail on Thursday by the Rouse Avenue court in a money laundering case linked to the now-defunct excise policy. The court approved Kejriwal's bail application upon submission of a bond worth Rs 1 lakh. His legal representatives argued that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) lacked evidence against him.

The investigating agency had requested a 48-hour extension for Kejriwal to execute the bail bond, indicating their intent to challenge the verdict in a higher court. According to news agency ANI, citing sources, the ED plans to approach the Delhi High Court on Friday morning to contest the trial court's decision.
