Covid-19: Over 85 lakh confirmed cases globally, 4.55 lakh dead

The Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic continues to ravage the world as more than 1.35 lakh new cases were reported in last 24 hours. This takes the total global tally to over 85 lakh and over 4.55 lakh have lost their lives. Over 5000 people were reported dead in last 24 hours across the globe due to the contagion. US leads the chart in number of cases with India at number 4 behind Russia and Brazil.
