Coronavirus: MHA declares the pandemic a 'disaster'

Ministry of Home Affairs has declared Coronavirus a 'national disaster.' This comes days after World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the disease a pandemic. The MHA also declared that the family of the deceased will be provided an ex-gratia of Rs 4 Lakh.
