Case filed against Mumbai girl for holding 'Free Kashmir' placard
A case has been registered against a Mumbai girl, whose was seen holding a placard that read “Free Kashmir” during the protest against violence that broke out in JNU campus on Sunday.
The girl who was protesting near the Gateway of India claimed it was "intended for peace in Jammu & Kashmir" and regrets for the misunderstanding it created.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis demanded to know what the protest was exactly about and why slogans of 'Free Kashmir' were raised there.
