Violence during elections is not a new thing in Bihar, although compared to earlier, such incidents have reduced considerably. Once again, Bihar came into limelight after the violence that broke out in Chapra after the fifth phase of elections on Tuesday (May 21). In the Saran Lok Sabha elections held on May 20, the main contest was between RJD and BJP, who are bitter rivals politically. The news of fighting and clashes between the workers of both the parties started coming from the day of the elections, but on May 21, its climax was seen. On this entire matter, Saran police has posted and informed that 2 persons have been detained in the incident which took place under Nagar police station of the district. Magistrates, police officers and soldiers have been deputed to the incident site and surrounding areas. Paramilitary forces are also continuously conducting flag marches in the area. Law and order is completely normal.
