Breaking News: CM Yogi To Review Situation In Flood Affected Shravasti and Balrampur | ABP News

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to inspect flood-affected areas in Shravasti and Balrampur districts on Thursday. His itinerary includes visiting Shravasti at 11:40 am to meet with local residents and assess the situation at flood relief camps. Subsequently, he will proceed to Balrampur at 1:40 pm for further inspections and relief efforts. Uttar Pradesh's Jal Shakti Minister, Swatantra Dev Singh, emphasized that the government is closely monitoring the flood situation exacerbated by heavy rainfall in Nepal, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh over the past few days. He highlighted the administration's proactive measures, including continuous alerts and round-the-clock efforts by officials such as SPs and DMs. Regrettably, a few individuals were affected, and tragically, two casualties occurred due to drowning, with their bodies later recovered. Singh assured ongoing relief distribution to affected communities as part of the government's response efforts.
