Big trouble for Congress' Digvijaya Singh; FIR registered over fake tweet on Khargone conflict
Digvijay Singh, the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, is in deep water after the state police filed a charge against him under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code in relation to a bogus tweet. According to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Home Minister Narottam Mishra, action will be taken. Singh had earlier today tweeted a photo of a man hoisting saffron flags from mosque minarets while a crowd cheered him on with clubs and swords, inquiring whether the Khargone administration had allowed people to march through the streets with swords.
